NetSuite SuiteCommerce Integration with ShopperApproved and Google Customer Reviews
One of our US-based Customers, a factory-direct distributor of batteries, chargers, and related accessories, required customization in their NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform. They wanted to integrate third-party applications such as ShopperApproved and Google customer reviews in their SuiteCommerce website.
This case study describes how experts of Jobin and Jismi IT Services, met customer requirements by integrating SuiteCommerce with ShopperApproved and Google merchant center customer reviews.
Our Customer, a leading factory-direct distributor of specialty batteries recognized the importance of genuine customer reviews and wanted to integrate them into their website pages.
They had already partnered with ShopperApproved – a leading product review aggregator to build on their business value and wanted to add Google customer reviews along with it.
Developers at Jobin and Jismi IT Services quickly realized the customer’s needs and formulated a plan to begin the integration. There were three extensions in total from both ShopperApproved and Google.
These integration results are displayed on the following pages:
1. Product details page
2. Product List page
Google Customer Review Integration
Google Merchant Center’s customer reviews integration with SuiteCommerce site involves two main steps:
1. Adding a survey opt-in module.
2. Adding a Badge code.
The survey opt-in is presented to customers only after they have made a purchase on the Customer’s site. Note that this is only an option to opt-in to receive an email from Google requesting feedback on the product and site and not on the confirmation page.
The Google badge adds more authenticity to the site as new customers can view genuine reviews and make the purchase confidently.
Our development team integrated ShopperApproved with the Customer’s SuiteCommerce website. With the integration, the overall rating badge will be displayed in the footer and individual product reviews will be visible on the product page.
Our developers also added a Merchant review page widget dedicated to merchant reviews.
Apart from these, ShopperApproved reviews are added to all product pages along with ShopperApproved Badge as shown below.
We integrated ShopperApproved, a renowned product review aggregator into the website as an extension and activated it. One of the benefits of integrating it with the SuiteCommerce site is that it will display seller ratings as well product reviews from verified customers on the site.
The NetSuite SuiteCommerce integration with two leading-third party applications was more than successful. Adding verified reviews boost brand credibility and enhance the trust in customer’s mind resulting in higher click-through rates and increased conversion rates.
Authentic product reviews provide genuine user experiences. Potential customers can go through these reviews and understand various aspects of the product and check if they meet their requirements – thus allowing them to easily reach a decision.
