Client Portfolio

Are you facing trouble managing data in multiple systems? A privately held eCommerce business, based in Ontario, Canada, was also affected by the same issue as their business expanded and they had to deal with a vast amount of data and processes. They are the worldwide distributors of connected automotive and consumer electronics solutions.

The company is also the parent of two leading industry brands. As a widely developing company, it includes a variety of products such as electronics radars, mobile power solutions, action cameras, driver vigilant apps, power inversions, manufacturing and retail distribution. It ensures people drive smarter and safer.

Problem Statement

The company uses various eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, eBay and Amazon, to sell its products. As the business expands, they find it difficult to manage the data transfer from each platform, sync orders and update inventory counts manually. Therefore, they approached Jobin & Jismi to find a solution.

The company has already chosen NetSuite as the best platform to support its omnichannel selling strategy along with NetSuite’s ease of use as a cloud application. They integrated Shopify, eBay, and Amazon with NetSuite using Celigo.

Celigo is a single, previously built solution that connects SaaS applications. For enterprises seeking to connect popular Saas applications, a Celigo smart connector is an effective choice.

Popular smart connections have the majority of use cases covered, making setup simple. Instead of taking weeks or months, you can set up and test a reliable integration in just a few days.

Now the client wanted us to configure certain requirements of their subsidiaries in the USA, Australia and Europe for these eCommerce stores.

What We Suggested

After a thorough analysis of the requirement and testing, the Celigo experts of Jobin&Jismi configured the specific requirements of the client in each of the three subsidiaries for the stores in Shopify, eBay, and Amazon.

We added the new eCommerce stores in the subsidiaries to the integration. Further, we configured the details of the specific requirements, including, shipping method, location, chart of accounts, discount item, and shipping item to the integration. We also synced the required data including customer orders, refunds, fulfilments, and invoicing to the corresponding platforms.

Data Sync- The customer order data from the stores is synced to NetSuite so that the sales orders are created automatically. From NetSuite, the inventory data is synced to the three stores.

Refund Sync- We synced refund data in NetSuite to the eCommerce stores. Hence, when a refund record is created in NetSuite, the corresponding order is created in the stores also.

Fulfillment Sync- Tracking details of each order will be entered in NetSuite by logistics. We link the tracking number and date to the stores so that customers are able to keep tabs of it.

Billing Sync- We automated the billing of sales orders in NetSuite.

There was a major hurdle we faced. As the subsidiaries were located in three different regions such as Europe, USA and Australia, the currency, tax and inventory were different for different regions. Mismatches in inventory and the non-automated flows were another significant challenge involved in this task.

Customer Success

Thanks to excellent consultation, the client enjoyed more benefits and they include:

The manual effort taken to transfer every detail to each platform was reduced significantly as the processes were automated.

There was a 50% increase in ROI after the configuration. This encouraged them to integrate their other eCommerce platforms with Celigo.

As the manual efforts were reduced, they did not have to spend much time transferring data. They could save time for other major projects.

This doubled their productivity and sales.

Thus, Jobin & Jismi facilitated their business by simplifying their process, leading to enhanced productivity and sales.
