Requirement
Our client required us to add shipping cost of $12.50 for purchase under $100.00 in sitebuilder site.
Solution
In order to achieve the goal, our developers created a checkbox called ‘free shipping’ in the customer record. If the checkbox is checked then that customer will have free shipping.
When a customer logs in to the website, we will check if ‘Free Shipping’ is checked or not. If it is checked then that customer will have free shipping. If not checked and the order sum is less than $100 then the shipping cost will be $12.50 and a message will be displayed ‘Increase your order up to $100.00 to get free shipping’. If the order sum is more than $100 then shipping will be free.
Result
Our developers attained the requirements successfully through setting up the shipping fee to $12.50 for checkout under purchase of $100.
