One of our Canadian clients is a leading Medical Equipment Manufacturer. The firm supplies quality clinical and patient take-home products for more than a decade.
Requirement
Our client required us to add shipping cost of $12.50 for purchases under $100.00 in the Sitebuilder site.
Solution
In order to meet their requirement, our developers created a checkbox. They created it in the customer record and named it ‘free shipping’. Once a user checks the checkbox, then the customer will have free shipping.
If not checked and the order sum is less than $100, then the shipping cost will be $12.50. The system will display an ‘Increase your order up to $100.00 to get free shipping’ label. If the order sum is more than $100, then shipping will be free.
Result
Our developers attained the requirements successfully through setting up the shipping fee to $12.50 for checkout under purchase of $100.
