Amazon-NetSuite Integration via Celigo to Manage Purchase Orders

One of our US-based clients is the first specialty bag company to design protective gear for professional musicians. They collaborate with professionals to provide quality and insight into a tool that had been overlooked. Their vision is to create innovative designs for creative people.

Requirement

Our client required us to sync purchase orders from Amazon Vendor Central Canada to NetSuite. When the client purchases from Amazon, they have to get the purchase details in NetSuite simultaneously, because all business matters are managed in NetSuite. Amazon does not have access to it, order details can be seen only in NetSuite. The data is stored as an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file on Amazon’s server. The client’s requirement is to bring that data into NetSuite and create sales orders there.

Solution

In order to fulfil the requirement, our developers used an application called Celigo to connect NetSuite and Amazon. It collects data from Amazon servers for NetSuite. Orders created on Amazon are converted as EDI files, and Celigo transfers those to NetSuite, thus creating sales orders in NetSuite.

Result

Our developers attained the requirements successfully through creating purchase orders from Amazon to sales order in NetSuite during every 15 minutes, creating new records without any duplication.
