A client from New Zealand wanted us to implement Email templates from the SCA webstore. The customer is a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions and containers. They sought the email templates for order confirmation emails, customer registration from the webstore and order approval.

These are the three domains in the single website record. The client wanted different content in each of the three email templates. 

 

Requirement

Our client required us to implement email templates from the SCA webstore for order confirmation emails, customer registration from the webstore, and order approval. There are three domains in the single website record. The client wishes to display different content in each of the three domains’ email templates. 

Solution

Our team of experts analyzed the requirements and put forward solutions for each,

1. Order confirmation email 

For order confirmation emails, our professionals set up a workflow in NetSuite. Submitting an order from the webstore triggers it. This identifies the domain or subsidiary of the customer.

SuiteCommerce offers in-built email templates. As per client requirement, our developers came out with a customized email template for the order confirmation mail. The user sends this custom mail to the customer along with the order details as an attachment. The attachment will be the same document available from NetSuite.  

2. Customer Registration 

The client wanted to send a custom email when a user registers on their webstore. Our developers updated the subsidiary field in the lead record based on the domain in which the user registered.  

They then set up a workflow in NetSuite. Creation of a lead record in the webstore triggers the workflow. By doing so, our professionals could check the subsidiary of the order placed. They were also able to set up a customer email template which sends and automated email 

3. Order Approval

Our developers set up a workflow in NetSuite similar to customer registration. Approval of an order from the customer triggers it. Using this workflow, developers check the domain of the order placed. By doing so, they can send an automated mail in the customized mail template.  

Result

The intervention of our professionals successfuly met the requirements of our client. They were able to display different content in each of the three email templates.
