NetSuite Stripe Integration
One of our clients, a leading manufacturer of packaging and containers based in Australia, had a requirement to integrate their payment method with NetSuite.
Stripe is a suite of payment APIs (Application Programming Interface) that powers commerce for online businesses of all sizes, including fraud prevention, and subscription management.
Requirement
Our client like to use the stripe method option on their website. They were using it for their other website. Therefore they required us to check the possibility to use the same on the SCA website.
Solution
Our experts analyzed the requirement and integrated Stripe with NetSuite. When a customer places an order on the website, the same will also be generated in the NetSuite sales order, and an email will send to the corresponding customer with the payment details. After the submission of the order, the created script will get triggered.
The customer can pay the amount through clicking the link attached with the mail. Further, another page appears for entering the card details. After completing the payment, the details will get stored in the corresponding Stripe account. A customer deposit record is created for the sales order and is visible in the related records subtab in the sales order.
Risk
One of the major risks we faced was that it cannot be used as a suite app form. Therefore we suggested the integration method to them.
Result
Our developers met the requirements successfully. They integrated Stripe with NetSuite which helped the client in automating the cash entries in NetSuite and eliminating errors on manual entries.
