NetSuite: Streamlining New Customer Paperwork and Credit Applications

One of our clients from the industry of switchable magnetic technology in the United States of America had a custom requirement in Customer Paperwork and Credit Application. This customization helps the customers to fill in and save the details online. They approached us for NetSuite customization because our solution was perfectly fit for their business.

Requirement

Our client required us to create a page on the website where customers can fill in and save the details online which should be repopulated in the NetSuite system as a “lead” including all the associated details like contact information for different sections with the information attached. They also wanted the user to take the printout of the form once submitted.  

The risk associated with customization is that we did not find any fields for bank preference and trade preference in the NetSuite Lead record. So, we created new custom fields under the new tab bank preference and trade preference. 

Solution

Our experts examined the requirements and risks in detail and as per the requirement, and created a credit application form on the website where the customers can fill in the details online, and upon saving the form, the information to create the lead record and contacts is saving in NetSuite. After the submission of the form, the user redirected to a page that contains the print button. Upon clicking on the button, it redirects to the print page and the user can download it. 

Result

NetSuite experts of Jobin & Jismi attained solution successfully. Now the customers can fill in and save the details online and can download the printout of the form. The customization allowed our client to establish credit with their customers.
